Contraption Spell

Contraption Spell was folkrock opera written and directed in collaboration with David Jones (aka Jonesy) as Kelly and David as part of REDCAT’s 2007 NOW Festival. It’s a modern American folk opera that weaves soaring harmonies, frenzied movement and melancholy song into a wry tale of cursed nomads in search of the source of their possession. It stars myself and David Jones along with Monica Howe, James McCarthy, Cameron Mesirow, MJ Silva, and Mary Clare Stevens.
